Incorporation of BOSIF

The Bharat Open Source Innovation Foundation (BOSIF) has been incorporated as a Section-8 not-for-profit company under the Companies Act, 2013.

BOSIF has been established with the objective of promoting open source innovation, infrastructure development, and indigenous technology creation in India through transparent, ethical, and community-driven governance.

The Foundation will work in collaboration with educational institutions, industry, students, researchers, and the open source community to build and sustain open source initiatives originating from India.

Further updates regarding programs, membership, and academic engagement will be published in due course.

The Bharat Open Source Innovation Foundation (BOSIF) invites educational institutions, research organizations, industry participants, and individual contributors to engage with the Foundation's programs and initiatives.

BOSIF seeks participation from stakeholders interested in:

• Student mentorship and internships
• Open source project development and governance
• Research and innovation initiatives

Engagement with BOSIF is voluntary, non-exclusive, and aligned with the Foundation's not-for-profit objectives.
