BOSIF Established to Strengthen India's Open Source Ecosystem

The Bharat Open Source Innovation Foundation (BOSIF), a Section-8 not-for-profit organization, has been established to promote open source innovation, infrastructure, and indigenous technology development in India.
BOSIF aims to provide a neutral and transparent platform for collaboration among educational institutions, industry, students, researchers, and the open source community.

Incorporation of BOSIF

The Bharat Open Source Innovation Foundation has been incorporated as a Section-8 not-for-profit company under the Companies Act, 2013.
BOSIF has been established with the objective of promoting open source innovation, infrastructure development, and indigenous technology creation in India through transparent, ethical, and community-driven governance.
